Spencer's first snow

It was the worst (or some could say the best!) snow storm that Portland had seen in at least 30 years.  For almost 2 weeks, we had snow and ice, then more snow, then more ice... I can't say that I ever really tired of it, though it was tough to not be able to sled and play in it.  We took Spencer out a few times for short periods of time and he didn't seem to mind a cold nose or snowflakes on his eyelashes.  Aside from being homebound for a few days and not being able to finish some of my Christmas shopping, it was beautiful.  I woke up every night (sometimes two or three times) to nurse Spencer and I would look outside and see it was still snowing and other than being worried about if our family would make it in for the holidays, I was happy to see the snowflakes falling in the streetlights.  What an amazing first snow for Master Spencer!
