Brad had to return the Porsche yesterday. The lease was up in a few months, and he had decided it was time to get a more responsible "dad" car. So he traded the 911 in for a small SUV - the Porsche Cayenne. I wanted to go with him to pick it up, but not if it meant taking separate cars. So I decided just to try and see if Spencer's carseat would fit in the back of the Porsche and it did! My knees were in the dashboard, but we fit! Spencer was asleep in a matter of minutes. I guess he liked the loud roar of the engine behind him. Brad (and myself) were sad to see his sports car go (he said it was the end of "fun Brad", and I said, "yes, but it's the beginning of fun dad"). But he got to try out his new car in the snow today and loves it. I had tried to convince him to keep his car until we really needed him to have something other than a 2-seater, but he really wanted something more practical and said it was time because he's a father now. He also wanted a car that he could drive when and if it snowed...and go figure it snowed within 24 hours of getting it!
