Our new house

What started 1 1/2 years ago as an investment in a piece of land with a tear-down home is now finally jumping out of the ground.  Almost exactly one year ago, we burned down the existing home on the property.  It took us 2 or 3 months to pick a builder and another 6 months to finalize our plans.  In July, they broke ground, only to be stalled for the next 2 months while we waited for permits.  Around the beginning of September, we finally got going full-speed and we are now moving right along.  The windows went in last week and they are currently working on the roof.  When the snow melts and weather permits next week, they will finish the roof and move on to the siding and exterior stone.  It's pretty exciting!

We all know how quickly time goes and before you know it 'time' will have passed and you will be moving in. Can't wait to see the move in party and the crazies with hats playing pool.
