Paris

For the past 2 weeks, we have been in Paris.  Little Spencer became a world traveler at just 6 weeks, and what a trooper he was!  We spent half of the time with Brad's parents and the other half in Paris.  We had beautiful, sunny, warm weather almost the entire 2 weeks, which was unusual for this time of year.

While in Paris, we saw all of the usual tourist sights (Versailles, Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Napoleon's tomb, etc.) , took many walks through parks and along the Seine, and ended each day with dinner out.  We spent two evenings with Brad's buddy from school and his family...it had been 16 years since they had seen each other.  While at Brad's parents, we laid low.  I got the tour of where Brad grew up and all the homes he'd lived in, which was very neat.

Spencer spent most of his time in his stroller and a few days in the Baby Bjorn.  He rode the subway several times and slept in his carseat every night.  He did great on the flights, sleeping most of the time and hardly ever fussing.

We were there for about a week when Brad's father went back into the hospital.  He is still there, but is doing better again.  All in all, it was a great trip and we are now paying the price with some serious jet lag.  We have not been able to stay up past 8:30 the past nights!  And just when I've got myself and Spencer back on our regular routine, we will be headed back East to see my sister!  That's okay...I can't wait!
