Our little bubba turned 2 months old today. He is full of smiles and coos now and his personality is beginning to show. We are having so much fun with him. Brad commented while we were in Paris that he was so happy to have 2 full weeks with Spencer and that he really felt like he's bonded with him. It is so sweet to see and makes me love them both even more. It was during our trip that Spencer really began to smile and respond to our voices. At dinner last Thursday, I noticed that he was staring at me and realized that he could really see us for the first time. I moved to the side and he followed me. When Brad moved in front of me, Spencer got a huge smile on his face and began to wiggle and kick. It just makes me smile every time...my cheeks sometimes hurt from permagrin! He now looks at the things around his crib, the mirror, his Baby Einstein play mat...everything! I love watching him and find that I can't get enough. He is also standing strongly and sits very well with us holding his arms or propping him on pillows. We are waiting for his first giggle and hope it's right around the corner!
