I have resorted to maternity pants this week. I did get away with a regular pair of pants yesterday, but I think that from here on out it will be stretchy pants! I just got finished cleaning out my closet...I have 2 garbage bags full of clothes that I am going to donate to the women's shelter. Now I have a section of my closet that is for maternity clothes, and I included any tops I already had that are empire waist and should work for a bit longer. I was getting very frustrated trying to find something to wear every day and sifting through my clothes looking for something that would fit and still look cute. After 3 hours in my closet, things are thinned out and in order and I get excited every time I walk into it now.
Could I really be 15 weeks already? Judging by my expanding belly, the answer is yes. That and the fact that I've leaked a tiny amount of urine a few times when I sneezed. Now that's a pretty side of pregnancy and has me just a little concerned for the years ahead! I still get a little bit tired in the afternoon, but otherwise I feel great. It is exciting to see my belly starting to grow. I can't lay on my stomach very comfortably now, which is strange. I started exercising again, just walking on the treadmill and doing some sit-ups, push-ups, etc. Today I tried running for a minute and could feel my uterus bouncing up and down, feeling heavy. That, too, was strange. It's all very exciting and I find myself looking forward to each week and the changes it brings. We are going to see Rob tomorrow afternoon...no promises, but he is going to do an ultrasound to see if we can determine baby's sex! It's still early, but if it's a boy and he's cooperating, we should be able to tell!
And next week we're off to Whistler for 5 days. I am very exited about that as well. I will go snowboarding as long as there is not a blizzard or lots of ice. I will be very careful, of course!
