Photos and video from previous (and lost) entries

Baby's Heartbeat - This was my first major OB appointment.  I had actually cheated 2 days earlier when one of the physicians I work with wanted to see if we could hear the heartbeat.  Then the next day I took the Doppler home so Brad could hear it.  It was very sweet to see him smile and just sit there and listen to it.  You have to listen carefully, but the baby's heartbeat is there, beating at about 170 beats per minute.

Belly still flat at 10 weeks - I am going to try taking pictures every few weeks to document my belly as it grows.  Brad had mentioned it may be the last time my belly was this flat (thanks), although even at only 10 weeks it seems a little different already.

Starting the nursery at only 8 1/2 weeks! - This blog had something to do with being a little neurotic already.  I rushed out at 8 1/2 weeks and got some baskets and a few other things to get the nursery going.  I had already received a few gifts and wanted something to store them in.  I love this color of green and plan on painting the nursery this frog-color (also known as celery green), no matter what the gender!

Baby Black at 6 weeks - This was our first ultrasound.  We weren't sure if the baby was okay and whether we would see one or more.  Seeing that little blob flicker brought tears to both of our eyes.  Sometimes you think you are immune to all this stuff, maybe because you're in the medical field and you've seen it all before.  So I never really expected I would feel so emotional when we saw and heard that heartbeat for the first time.  It suddenly made the whole thing more real.
